Docomo picks Nok Nok Labs for FIDO ecosystem in Japan

Authentication services provider Nok Nok Labs, a founding member of the FIDO (Fast IDentity Online) Alliance, has announced that Japanese mobile operator NTT Docomo has selected the NNL S3 Authentication Suite to deliver authentication its ecosystem of millions of customers and mobile devices across Japan. Docomo customers can now access online services from Docomo and other companies using biometric authentication such as fingerprint-sensors and iris-recognition from FIDO-enabled smartphones recently announced by Sharp, Fujitsu and Samsung.
