Docomo quarterly revenue declines 1.5%, net profit drops nearly 12%

Japanese mobile operator NTT Docomo saw its revenues decline by 1.5 percent to JPY 1.159 trillion in its fiscal first quarter to June 2019. Operating profit also decreased by 10.1 percent to JPY 278.7 billion. The net profit plunged 11.9 percent to JPY 192.3 billion. The operator's quarterly capex decreased by 21.7 percent to JPY 97.9 billion, helping adjusted free cash flow jump 221 percent year-on-year to JPY 151.5 billion.
