Docomo to launch prepaid SIM service for foreign visitors

NTT Docomo will launch a new prepaid SIM service called 'Japan welcome SIM' that will allow foreign travelers to access the internet through the Docomo network during their stay in Japan, starting 1 July. End-users will be able to access the internet with three 15-day plans. They can go online for a fee of JPN 1,000, JPN 1,700 or for free from October in exchange for viewing a certain number of video advertisements. They also have to fill out a survey prior to arriving in Japan.
