Dominican regulator welcomes mobile anti-theft measures

The Dominican Telecommunications Institute (Indotel) has welcomed the measure announced by Claro to implement a technological system that will help curb the acquisition and use of stolen mobile phones. The regulator urged other operators to adopt similar measures to prevent theft of mobile phones and thus help reduce crime in the country.
