Doro enters Africa with Algerie Telecom

Swedish phonemaker Doro, which sells simplified versions of products using new technologies, is entering Africa for the first time through a deal with Algerie Telecom, reports Agence Ecofin.  Doro has designed a range of wireless phones offering customers full mobility especially for the operator. Algerie Telecom CEO Azouaou Mehmel said the two companies want to spread the notion of "mobility from home" as customers increasingly use their mobile phones both in and outside the house.
