Doro Q1 puts some staff on short-term leave as virus dents Q1 phone sales, plans Care hub launch

Friday 24 April 2020 | 12:45 CET | News
Swedish company Doro said net sales in the first quarter of 2020 decreased by 9 percent, with handset sales down almost 16 percent as the coronavirus dented order intake. Employees are on short-term leave in many markets from April and there is a risk of a significant decline in phone sales in Q2, with procurements and product launches prone to postponement. Doro's focus on phones for  the elderly had a mitigating effect and the company is poised to launch the Doro Eliza alarm hub.
