Drahi's holding company rules out extension to Altice Europe deal offer period

Thursday 14 January 2021 | 10:56 CET | News
Patrick Drahi's holding company Next said that its improved offer of EUR 5.35 per Altice Europe share will expire on 21 January and will not be extended. Additionally, the post-offer entity will be created without delay once the offer closes, as Next has also ruled out a post-acceptance period. The development follows the extraordinary general meeting held in Amsterdam on 07 January, during which Altice Europe shareholders approved all resolutions on the agenda, clearing the way for the completion of the buyout.
