DRC warns mobile operators about service quality

The Democratic Republic of Congo's ICT and postal minister, Tryphone Kin-Key Mulumba, has warned the country's four mobile operators that they must improve their service quality by 7 September or suffer sanctions, Radio Okapi reports. Airtel, China Telecom, Tigo and Vodacom customers have been hit by a fall in call quality for a month and a half, and there is no reimbursement system in place, he said.
