DT CEO hopes new regulation leads to local de-regulation

Hoettgess welcomes the consultation as it focuses on de-regulation and hopes that the regulator will find regions that can be de-regulated for Deutsche Telekom as it has no market dominance. At the same time, he hopes that the regional network operators that have market dominance in certain regions will be forced to offer wholesale access to their DSL, fibre and cable networks.
