DT plans more transparency on how customer data is used

Over nine in ten (91%) of internet users think that their data is secretly accessed online and 82 percent assume that most companies share their customer data, according to a recent survey on digital self-determination conducted by Cologne Centre for ethics, rights, economics, and social sciences of health (ceres) on behalf of Deutsche Telekom. In response to the results of the study, Deutsche Telekom announced plans to publish an updated and concise version of its data protection notice. The operator said it is also working on a solution that shows customers which data Deutsche Telekom
