DT to change music streaming option for net neutrality rules

Monday 28 March 2016 | 12:21 CET | News
Deutsche Telekom will no longer offer unlimited high-speed data for Spotify once the new EU net neutrality regulations come into effect at the end of April. Customers with the 'Music Streaming' option currently do not see their data allowance used for Spotify, and this will not change after 28 April. However, DT will no longer be allowed to offer data at full speed for Spotify once the monthly data plan is used up. As with other data services, the speed is cut to 64 Kbps after using up the monthly plan.
