DTG responds to BBC Charter Review consultation

The Digital TV Group (DTG) has called on the BBC to champion innovation and open standards in digital and wireless communication technology. Responding to the Department of Culture, Media and Sport's (DCMS) consultation into the BBC Charter Review, the DTG focuses on covered by the DTG's remit to encourage collaborative innovation in digital media technology for the benefit of consumers and the UK economy. The DTG believes that the BBC should fulfil the function of a UK champion for innovation in digital and wireless communication technologies; play a leading role within the UK and in global
