Du is working on 5G network

UAE operator Du is actively engaged with standard bodies and partners Huawei, Nokia and Ericsson on launching 5G in the country, but the company says is too early to talk about as there are multiple standards, Gulf News reported. Saleem Al Blooshi, executive VP of network development and operation, said Du has already submitted papers to standard bodies to evaluate. The 5G service will be launched in 2020 in the country.
