Dutch businesses to invest average EUR 2.5 mln in IoT

Dutch businesses invest an average EUR 2.5 million per year in Internet of Things projects, according to a survey by Pb7 for ICT services provider Sogeti. The largest share of investments in the next three years is expected to go to IoT software platforms (38%), followed by integration with existing business applications (34%) and IoT connectivity (34%). The survey questioned 100 Dutch businesses with over 100 employees. A quarter said their biggest challenge is learning about all the possibilities of IoT, while over a fifth (22%) said they were concerned the technology was not yet fully
