Dutch govt brings forward broadband targets in Digital Connectivity Action Plan

The Dutch government has set a target of at least 100 Mbps broadband for all households by 2023, two years earlier than the previous deadline. By the same date, a large majority of homes should have a gigabit connection, according to the Digital Connectivity Action Plan. To further increase broadband penetration, coverage requirements will be introduced for the spectrum licences to be auctioned next year.
