Dutch online spend lifts 4% to EUR 5.7 billion in Q3, with mobile shopping becoming more popular

Dutch online consumer spending and purchases again grew in the third quarter, after putting on a strong show in the second. Spending lifted 4 percent from the year before to EUR 5.7 billion, while the number of purchases advanced by 23 percent to 75.9 million. The research was carried out by GfK, on ​​behalf of Thuiswinkel.org and Retail Insiders, together with PostNL, Dutch payments association Betaalverening Nederland and Currence.
