Dutch pay-TV video market grows to EUR 2.2 bln in revenues, Covid-19 may drive further growth in 2020

Tuesday 21 April 2020 | 09:44 CET | News
The figures come from the latest edition of the Dutch TV-Video Market report, for Q4 2019. This shows that OTT video services increased to almost 16 percent of market revenues in 2019 from 13 percent two years earlier, mainly due to subscriber growth at the leading SVoD services Netflix and Videoland. Disney+ also joined the market in the last quarter of 2019, passing Amazon Prime Video already in its first quarter.
