Dutch satellite start-up Hiber secures EUR 1.8 mln subsidy

The Dutch space start-up Hiber has received EUR 1.8 million in support from the Dutch business subsidies agency RVO. The state 'innovation credit', designed to subsidise the costs of developing promising new technical projects, will support the launch of its first two satellites, the company announced. Hiber also appointed Inmarsat veteran Steven Rutgers as VP Business Development.
