Dutch spend 2.15 hours per day on their smartphone, or 34 days per year - study

The average Dutch person spends around 2.15 hours per day on their smartphone, translating into 34 days per year per person, according to an independent survey conducted by DirectResearch for Simyo on over 1000 Dutch people. Significant differences in smartphone use were found between men, women and young people. This also applies to measures taken to limit smartphone use. One striking point is that Apple users use their smartphone 10 minutes longer per day on average than owners of other brands.
