E-book alliance Tolino adds partners, unveils Android tablet

German book wholesaler Libri has joined the German e-book alliance Tolino, which was set up by book stores Thalia, Weltbild, Hugendubel, Club Bertelsmann and Deutsche Telekom as technology partner. With Libri as partner, Tolino gains access to more than 1,000 bookstores as well as online book stores to market the Tolino eReaders. German online book store eBook.de has also joined the alliance and tolina will be marketed in Italy from November via Italia's largest online book store IBS.it.
