E-Plus adds 265,000 post-paid mobile customers in Q1

German mobile network operator E-Plus has reported group revenue of EUR 760 million for Q1 2013, down 4.3 percent from EUR 794 million in Q1 2012, with mobile service revenue down 6.9 percent to EUR 714 million. EBITDA fell 36 percent to EUR 195 million, from EUR 303 million a year earlier. Non-voice services (mobile data and SMS) accounted for 45 percent of ARPU in Q1 2013, up 6 percentage points from a year earlier. Blended ARPU was EUR 10 in Q1, down 9.1 percent from Q1 2012, with post-paid ARPU down 4.8 percent to EUR 20 and post-paid ARPU down 20 percent to EUR 5. E-Plus ended March with
