E-Plus adds 479,000 customers in Q2

German mobile network operator E-Plus Group has reported net customer growth of 479,000 for Q2 2013, to end June with a total of 24.43 million customers, up 3.9 percent from 23.50 million a year earlier. Post-paid contract customers were up 4.6 percent year-on-year to 8.13 million, with 210,100 new additions in Q2 alone. Blended ARPU was constant year-on-year in Q2 at EUR 11, with post-paid ARPU down to EUR 20 from EUR 21, and pre-paid ARPU constant at EUR 6. Overall revenue reached EUR 803 million in Q2, down 4.6 percent from EUR 842 million a year earlier, with service revenue accounting
