E-Plus Group ends 2011 with 22.7 mln customers on network

German mobile network operator E-Plus Mobilfunk has reported total revenue of EUR 3.23 billion for 2011, down 0.2 percent from EUR 3.24 billion in 2010, with revenue in the fourth quarter up 0.4 percent year-on-year to EUR 0.82 billion. Revenue from mobile services reached EUR 3.10 billion for the full year and EUR 0.79 billion for Q4, up 1.2 percent and 0.2 percent respectively. Excluding regulatory effects, full-year service revenue was up 7.6 percent and Q4 service revenue up 7.2 percent. Revenue growth was driven by data services, accounting for 28 percent of customer revenue at end-2011,
