E-Plus revenues drop 4.8%, EBITDA down 29%

German mobile operator E-Plus reports revenues of EUR 799 million for the third quarter of this year, down by 4.8 percent compared with Q2 2012 due to a 9 percent decrease in service revenues to EUR 752 million. Excluding special and regulatory effects, the service revenues decreased 2 percent year-on-year with a 5 percent negative effect from the lower MTA tariffs that are valid since 1 December 2012. The EBITDA for the third quarter amounted to EUR 229 million down by 29 percent year-on-year due to higher investments and the lower MTA tariffs, leading to a EBITDA margin of 28.5 percent, 10
