E-Tera connects 28,000 Calvados homes to FttH

French FttH network operator E-Tera has extended coverage to its first 28,000 homes in the department of Calvados, writes Ariase. The network is being used to offer the Kiwi Fibre Optique service, including up to 100 Mbps symmetrical internet speeds, unlimited calls to fixed numbers in France, and 90 TV channels delivered over an Android TV STB. Customers can access apps such as YouTube, Flickr, social networks and browse the internet directly on their TV sets.
