EC opens in-depth probe into PosteMobile termination rates

The European Commission said it has opened an in-depth investigation into Italian regulator Agcom's decision to allow MVNO PosteMobile to charge higher call termination rates than other operators. The Commission said Agcom should have anticipated PosteMobile's potential future market power when it authorised it to charge a premium of almost 75 percent compared to other operators.
