EcoDataCenter says it will open world's first carbon-positive data centre in Sweden in autumn 2018

Swedish company EcoDataCenter said it is opening the world's first carbon-positive data centre, in Falun. Not only are there no CO2 emissions, but during operation, it even promotes the reduction of total carbon emissions. The centre has taken four years to develop and the heat generated will be re-used by Falu Energi & Vatten's local district heating networks and at a wood pellet factory.
