EdgeUno raises USD 500,000 to acquire Colombian ISP Red Uno

LatAm-focused edge computing startup EdgeUno has successfully raised USD 500,000 in its first seed round of funding to acquire Colombian ISP Red Uno. The aim is to give the company a foothold in Colombia as it begins its long-term goal of bringing edge computing to the entire continent. In a statement EdgeUno said Red Uno has been providing internet and colocation services to the country's government agencies, corporations and enterprises for decades.
