EE adds 190,000 postpaid customers in Q3

UK mobile operator EE added 190,000 postpaid customers, including M2M, in the third quarter, increasing its postpaid customer base by 3 percent in a year to 15.2 million. Excluding M2M, the operator added 147,000 postpaid customers. EE increased its 4G customer base by 1.7 million in the quarter, taking it to 12.6 million, and expects to beat its target of 14 million LTE customers by the end of the year. EE reported a GBP 28 of postpaid ARPU, down 3.1 percent on a year ago, with combined ARPU steady at GBP 19.10. Postpaid churn stood at 1.1 percent. EE reported GBP 1.59 billion of turnover in
