EE offers 4G card, contactless payments for retailers

UK retailers could miss out on vital Christmas trading by being unable to offer card payments, according to new research from EE. The research shows that 4 in 5 (80%) UK shoppers expect to be able to pay for goods using their credit or debit cards, but a quarter (25%) have been forced to abandon transactions due to a lack of card facilities, equal to around 13 million shoppers.
