EE shows that internet skills vital for securing employment

The majority (95%) of unemployed Brits believe they will struggle to find employment without basic internet skills, according to research commission by EE. In addition, one third of those unemployed feel they are falling further behind with the latest technology because they are out of work. The research also found that 85 percent believe internet access speeds up the process of job-hunting and 81 percent cited exploring websites as the most popular way to support the search for employment. EE has teamed with the Royal Voluntary Service and Jobcentre Plus to hold National Techy Tea Party Day
