EE to launch LTE-A in London "within weeks"

Thursday 16 October 2014 | 10:22 CET | News
UK mobile operator EE has told ISPreview that its LTE-A network upgrade, offering peak speeds of 300 Mbps, will go live by the end of October. EE previously said that it did not expect the service being trialled in East London's Tech City to become available commercially this year. The operator said "We'll have coverage across central London and a live service in weeks." Without giving a specific date for the launch, the operator reportedly ruled out November and December.
