Egypt to open first satellite assembly centre in March 2021

Egypt will launch its first satellite assembly centre in March 2021, the Daily News reported citing the CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency, Mohamed Al-Qousi. He said the agency is currently in the final stages of adjusting the subsystems of the Tiba 1 satellite to be ready for operation. The assembly centre will be located in the space and satellite technology city that is under construction in the Fifth Settlement district of New Cairo.
