EgyptAir picks Panasonic for in-flight mobile connectivity

Panasonic Avionics subsidiary AeroMobile has announced the launch of mobile connectivity onboard EgyptAir Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. This means mobile and internet connectivity is now available on the airline's entire fleet of Dreamliner aeroplanes. In addition to onboard Wi-Fi and live TV, passengers will be able to access the AeroMobile network to connect their roaming-enabled GSM phones to use mobile data services, send and receive SMS messages and emails, and make and receive calls.
