Egypt's SICO exports 1st shipment of smartphones to UAE

Egyptian company Silicon Industries Company (Sico), the country's first mobile phone manufacturer, has released its first mobile phone shipment from its new plant in Assiut Technology Park to the UAE, reports the Daily News. SICO chairperson Mohamed Salem said the factory targets the local market but also foreign ones, especially Arab and African ones.
