Eight clients currently use one third of TKSAT-1's capacity

Eight Bolivian customers are currently using one third of the country's TKSAT-1 (Tupac Katari) satellite capacity, according to Bolivia's Space Agency (ABE) director Ivan Zambrana. By the end of the year, half of the satellite capacity will be in use. The local customers include state-run telecoms operator Entel, state oil firm YPFB, state TV channel Bolivia TV, the Education and Health ministries, a private TV channel, mobile operator Viva and another company whose name was not revealed. The official said that nearly 70 percent of the satellite capacity is already committed under commercial
