Eir challenges ComReg universal service ruling in High Court

Irish telecoms operator Eir has filed an appeal with the High Court against a decision of regulator ComReg to force Eir to spend around EUR 10 million a year providing universal, essential services, reports the Irish Times. The High Court is scheduled to hear the case on 24 June.
