Eir customers left without broadband, TV services

Eir customers were left without TV and broadband services for a time on the evening of Friday 29 September, reports the Irish Independent. The outage affected parts of Dublin, Waterford, Limerick, Cork, Meath, Galway, Kerry, Louth and Sligo. In a statement, Eir said that the outage lasted 30-60 minutes and affected around 1,700 broadband customers, and that the problem had now been fully resolved.
