Eir ends Q4 with 702,000 fibre broadband connections; Q4 EBITDA up 6%

Irish telecoms company Eir has reported revenue of EUR 1.25 billion for the year ending 30 June, down 2 percent or EUR 21 million year-on-year. EBITDA was up by 10 percent or EUR 50 million to EUR 578 million, as operating costs for the quarter fell 14 percent or EUR 69 million year-on-year to EUR 406 million.
