Eir offers free EU roaming for mobile customers

Irish operator Eir has launched a new roaming plans with free EU roaming and an additional 1GB data as standard. Customers using these new plans can use their call and text allowances anywhere in the EU, plus they will get an additional 1GB EU roaming data for free, each month. Up to 40,000 existing eir mobile customers, who signed up to eir Mobile (individual plan or as part of a bundle) from September 2015 onwards, will also have the new benefit applied to their accounts before end-April.
