Eir revenues fall, but EBITDA lifts on reduced operating costs in Q3

Irish carrier Eir said results for the third quarter were in line with expectations, with revenues down 2 percent from the year before to EUR 310 million, EBITDA up 7 percent to EUR 147 million and operating costs reduced by 16 percent to EUR 100 million. Cash on the balance sheet meanwhile jumped 85 percent to EUR 237 million.
