Eir sells Emerald Tower infrastructure for EUR 300 mln

Irish carrier Eir said it has sold Emerald Tower, its Irish mobile telecom infrastructure management company, to Phoenix Tower International for EUR 300 million. The sale includes all of the infrastructure's steel and concrete elements. Eir will keep the eir base stations, antennas and all telecom-related equipment. It will also keep access to the infrastructure for certain services, having signed a long-term service agreement for the provision of hosting services over the equipment.
