Eir to bring fibre to 100,000 rural premises in next year

Irish incumbent operator Eir (formerly Eircom) has provided further detail of the country's national fibre rollout, stating that 100,000 rural homes and businesses across 200 communities in all 26 counties would have up to 1 Gbps service by March 2017.
