El Salvador starts phase two of Wireless Security project

The Council of Mayors of the San Salvador Metropolitan Area, through its Planning Office (OPAMSS), mobile operator Tigo, RTI International (RTI) and Qualcomm, through its Wireless Reach initiative, have expanded the Seguridad Inalambrica (Wireless Security) project in cooperation with the National Civilian Police, Corps of Metropolitan Agents (CAM) of participating municipalities and the US Government through its Agency for International Development (USAID).
