Elisa achieves 880 Mbps in G.fast tests

Finnish operator Elisa announced it has tested G.fast technology on its copper network and achieved speeds up to 880 Mbps. The test was conducted in three residential areas in a metropolitan area. The operator said G.fast should be able to devlier up to 1 Gbps and soon 2 Gbps. It is the first operator in Finland to test the technology on a commercial network and said it aims to launch the services as soon as possible.
