Elisa cleared to acquire Anvia stake

Wednesday 8 April 2015 | 13:44 CET | News
Finnish operator Elisa announced that the competition regulator approved its acquisition of a 26.8 percent stake in the company Anvia, making it the largest shareholder. Anvia provides a range of ICT services, including broadband and TV for consumers, security services for businesses and TV delivery equipment for service providers. The regulator set as a condition for the acquisition that the overlapping consumer business broadband networks, as well as the related 3,200 customer agreements be divested in the Vaasa, Mustasaari and Laihia areas in Western Finland.
