Elisa says new e-book customers rise 125% in past 31 days as virus keeps Finns at home

Finnish operator Elisa said the number of new customers of its electronic book service Elisa Kirja has increased by 125 percent over the last 31 days, and sales of its reading devices are up by more than 40 percent. The coronavirus restrictions have led many to try out digital services and products for the first time, and books are part of this trend, said the operator. Wheres Finns normally prefer crime novels and biographies, demand is currently strong for humorous books.
