EMEA PC market grows 16.6% in Q4

The Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) traditional PC market (desktops, notebooks, and workstations) posted strong growth in the fourth quarter 2020, increasing by 16.6 percent year-on-year to 24.1 million units, according to a study from IDC. The researcher said that the continued impact of covid-19 and subsequent high demand for traditional PC shipments resulted in strong growth for the consumer segment, up 21.3 percent, and the commercial segment, up 13.6 percent.
