EMEA smart home shipments slide 7% to 20.3 million in Q2 - IDC

The smart home market in EMEA declined 7.2 percent year-on-year in the second quarter to 20.28 million units, according to the latest study from IDC. All product categories saw decreases, spurred on by the postponement of major sporting events to 2021. For example, smart TV sales showed a double-digit decreased, as people did not update their current smart TVs.
