EMEA smartphone market posts weakest result in six years in 2020

The EMEA smartphone market recorded its weakest performance in six years in 2020 due to the covid-19 crisis, according to a study from the IDC. The EMEA market volume contracted 4.2 percent year-on-year to 345.2 million units. The market's value likewise declined, by 4.6 percent to USD 110 billion.
